Dr Paul Quirk
Dentist, B.Sc (HONS) B.D.Sc
Dr Paul Quirk has been the principal dentist in practice at Everton House dental for almost 30 years. He is a dedicated health practitioner committed to providing high quality comprehensive dental care for his patients and their families.
Graduated from the UQ dental School in 1996 following 10 years as a clinical research scientist and took over Everton House Dental in 1999. Over the last 25+ years he has developed an extensive range of skills in dentistry including oral surgical skills, orthodontics implants and 3D dentistry.
He derives significant satisfaction in the relationships that develop from caring for patients over a long time and sharing their life journeys. He cares deeply for each and every one of his patients and personally carries out all treatments from the basic to the complex for several generations within each family.
He believes in considering the whole person to provide the most appropriate treatment at all times, as dental health care is so much more than just about teeth. He is particularly adept at making children and very anxious patients comfortable in his care. His gentle approach to people is shaped by life experience as a clinical researcher and happily married husband for over
35 years with 3 adult children.
Paul also loves...
Spending time outdoors bushwalking and travelling, engaging in geopolitics, economics, art, Australian sports, good food and wine. For fun he loves to cycle and get away to Yamba where he keeps trying to improve his “tragic wannabe surfing skills”. More recently he has added photography to those passions.
Dr Nicholas Quirk
Dentist, BDS
Dr Nicholas Quirk has developed a variety of interests within his dental practice. Through his work in Special Needs Dentistry units in Adelaide, Rural South Australia and Canberra, Nicholas has come to understand that dentistry can be a challenging experience for many. He takes great care to make each visit as comfortable as possible, particularly for those who experience anxiety prior to and during treatments. He takes the extra step to get to know patients beyond their teeth and gums.
Nicholas has a diversified background that includes time spent as a medical engineer at the prestigious American ‘Mayo Clinic’. This has given him a broader education in all things medically orientated. He is commited to remaining at the cutting edge of dentistry and is a member of multiple professional study groups and also works in conjunction with local specialist practices. Nicholas combines this dedication with his patient centred approach to deliver optimal outcomes for all those in his care.
Nicholas also loves...
Humming along to music of choice (not country), rock climbing, playing way too much football (soccer) or trying to sneak off to the beach whenever time permits. It’s also a good thing he’s a dentist as biscuits seem to disappear extremely quickly when he’s around…
